What it funds
The Administration for Community Living (ACL) intends to fund one (1) three-year cooperative agreement to maintain and expand the Direct Care Workforce Strategies Center. The primary goal of this initiative is to support cross-sector efforts to address the current shortage and high turnover rate of direct care workers. By strengthening this workforce, ACL aims to ensure that older adults, people with disabilities, and family caregivers can safely live, work, and fully participate in their communities.
